Description
Português: Situado na Alameda David Carneiro, junto à casa da Câmara e Cadeia, o monumento é uma homenagem aos 80 expedicionários lapianos da 2a. Guerra Mundial. O movimento foi uma iniciativa da Prefeitura Municipal da Lapa sendo inaugurada em 08 de maio de 1990. Obra em granito escuro do escultor Antonio Leonidas de Couto, composta por dois blocos de 2,10 x 1,90 m, tem gravado o nome dos 80 expedicionários lapianos como forma de eternizar a bravura e a história desses heróis quase anônimos.
