Monument Gecremeerden Driehuis Het monument herdenkt 324 verzetsmensen die zijn gefusilleerd in de Tweede Wereldoorlog en zijn gecremeerd in het crematorium op deze begraafplaats.


Herdachte groepen: Verzet Nederland Ontwerper: J. Selling (ontwerper), Cornelia Catharina Johanna Maria Franzen-Heslenfeld (beeldhouwster) Vorm en materiaal Het monument op begraafplaats 'Westerveld' in Driehuis (gemeente Velsen) is een uit vijf natuurstenen platen opgetrokken gedenkmuur. In het midden van de muur is in reliëf een staande, naakte mannenfiguur aangebracht, wiens zwaard hem uit de rechterhand ontglipt. Het monument ligt op het verstrooiingsveld voor omgekomen verzetsmensen.

Tekst De tekst op het gedenkteken luidt:

'IS DE DOOD HET LEVEN? IS HET LEVEN DE DOOD? 1940 - 1945'. Locatie

Het monument bevindt zich op de Begraafplaats & Crematorium 'Westerveld', gelegen aan de Duin en Kruidbergerweg in Driehuis (gemeente Velsen).
