Calouste Gulbenkian Garden, Lisbon, Portugal Material: Concrete Collection: Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation Nota: "Para uma ideia em permanente construção, a ideia de uma casa em construção para sempre" [Pedro Cabrita Reis] BIOGRAPHY Pedro Cabrita Reis (Lisboa, 1956) é um artista plástico, pintor português. Estudou no Liceu Pedro Nunes, em Lisboa. Formou-se na área de Artes Plásticas - Pintura, na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. Pedro Cabrita Reis é um dos principais artistas de sua geração. A exposição em Kunsthalle Hamburg foi a sua primeira apresentação num museu alemão. Expôs e participou em numerosas exposições internacionais, incluindo a Documenta IX, em 1992, em 2003, representou Portugal na Bienal de Veneza. Atualmente, participa na X Bienal de Lyon, com duas grandes obras. Em Hamburg Kunsthalle apresentou cerca de sessenta esculturas, incluindo pinturas, desenhos e fotografias.
