English: Monument to Sir Nicholas Parker, Willingdon Church. Sir Nicholas Parker of Ratton, JP and Sheriff, first married Joan Courtenay, secondly Elizabeth Baker, both wives having had no children. Then he married Katherine Temple and they had 5 sons, Thomas, John, Nicholas, Robert and Henry, and daughters Anne and Mary. His brother was Sir John Parker and his father was Thomas Parker. He died in 1619 aged 73. |
