日本語:千葉大学亥鼻キャンパスにある旧薬学部猪之鼻学舎屋根飾。1966年(昭和41年)薬学部の西千葉キャンパスへと移転の後、1984年(昭和59年)旧学舎の飾り屋根を復元してモニュメントとしたものである。今日、西千葉キャンパスの設備老朽化に伴い、薬学部の主要研究施設は再び亥鼻キャンパスへと移転している。

以下、説明書き全文(原文ママ)

『千葉大学薬学部は明治二十三年(一八九〇)第一高等中学校医学部薬学科として千葉市猪之鼻町に創設され、大正七年(一九一八)に漸く学舎が新設された。爾来半世紀に亘り薬学徒研鑽の殿堂としての使命を果して来たが昭和四十一年薬学部の西千葉地区への新築移転により旧学舎は老朽化の為解体の止むなきに到った。玆に猪之鼻旧学舎の飾り屋根を復元し千葉大学薬学部発展の記念すべき礎石として末永く保存せんとするものである。
