Summary
[edit]DescriptionMonument Valley (5893527964).jpg |
One of the most stunning sights of the Desert Southwest. It would easily qualify to be a United States National Park, but as it lies on Navajo land, it is instead run by the Navajo tribe as its tribal park. Monument Valley is mostly located in Utah, though portions lie in Arizona; in fact, the entrance is in Utah and the visitor center is in Arizona. Visible in the foreground is a 17-mile dirt loop road that allows closer look at the mesas. |
