Monument Valley deserves another visit from us. We were tired from a 2-hour search for the site, and the mid-day sun did not light up the formations as we'd hoped for. But still, as this shot shows, it is a place that makes one pause and think about how small we are.
If you would like to call the valley by its Navajo name, it's 'Tsé Bii Ndzisgaii.' Good luck!

The Navajo claim that there are ancient dwellings of the Anasazi cliff dwellers within the park that no white person has ever seen. They are cursed for anyone trespassing on them.
