Description
English: Monument for those Dutch railwayemployees who lost there lives during WOII and in particular those who participated in the railwaystrike of 1944. Statue was made by Willem Johannes Valk and revealed in 1949. Poem by Hendrik de Vries on the monument.
Nederlands: Standbeeld in Utrecht door Willem Johannes Valk voor tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog omgekomen spoorwegpersoneel, in het bijzonder de deelnemers aan de Spoorwegstaking van 1944. Onthuld in 1949. Gedicht Aan hen die nimmer bukten van Hendrik de Vries op het monument.
