Description
Français : Monument à Jacquard, Place Jacquard, Saint-Étienne. Réalisé par Paul Landowski et installé en 1912. Face nord. L'inscription indique : "Ce monument, dû à la généreuse initiative de Monsieur Pierre Deville et à une souscription publique a été inauguré le vingt-et-un avril 1912 sous la présidence de M. Jean Neyret, maire de la ville de Saint-Étienne et de M. Jean-Jacques Giron, président du Comité."
English: Monument to Jacquard, Place Jacquard, Saint-Etienne. Directed by Paul Landowski and installed in 1912. North face. The inscription indicates: "This monument, due to the generous initiative of Mr. Pierre Deville and to a public subscription was inaugurated on the twenty-first of April 1912 under the presidency of Mr. Jean Neyret, mayor of the city of Saint- Etienne and Mr. Jean-Jacques Giron, Chairman of the Committee. "
