Description

Document BANQ / Carte Postale. Mention: Ice Cream with Ice Cream Soda, All Kinds Of Refreshments. Ce détaillant de crème glacée était installé à une endroit de choix, à proximité d'une gare de tramway.

Pour les petites gens de Montréal, le Nord de l'île reste difficile d'accès jusqu'à l'arrivée du tramway électrique en 1892. C'est la "Montreal Parks & Island" qui en assure le service. Début XXè siècle, un petit tramway dessert Cartierville; il part de la station Snowdon, traverse le village de Saint-Laurent et continue vers le nord.
