The stereoscope gives such a vivid impression of realityand of relative positions and distances that I should thinktheir views would be admirably adapted for popular use inpublic libraries. Wm. C. The artist has selected hissubjects with great wisdom, and shown remarkable artisticability in his treatment of them. I know of nothing ofthe kind so valuable. I should say that the collectionwould be a great help to the minister in his study of theBible, and to the Sunday-school teacher in his workamong children.
