Description
Italiano: Il Monastero di Santa Chiara, eretto probabilmente sui resti di una precedente struttura difensiva, spicca imponente nel rione Piana , lungo Via dei Mille.

I lavori di costruzione iniziarono nel 1610 ed ospitò fino al 1867, anno in cui il monastero subì la soppressione e l' incameramento dei beni allo Stato, le suore con voto di clausura.

Il complesso è strutturato su due livelli impostati su un cortile interno a pianta rettangolare.

Adiacente al monastero è ubicata una torre di avvistamento a pianta quadrata.
