English: Mole tunnel near Parson's Pulpit The dry valley between Parson's Pulpit and Point 525m (the small knoll behind) was criss-crossed by long networks of these roofless tunnels. We concluded that they were the work of moles when the ground was snowed over and possibly too frozen to dig far into. A graphic illustration of these industrious little creatures. |
