Description
Català: A Benimaclet, antiga alqueria musulmana vinculada a valència, existia una molí, instal·lat sobre el braç de Rambla, una de les derivacions principals de la séquia de Mestalla, que travessa aquesta població. El molí donava nom a un ramal (la séquia del molí de Benimaclet) que recollia les darreres aportacions del braç de Rambla i d'algunes fonts, en especial de la font de la Murta, per vessar finalment les aigües sobreres a la séquia de Vera.

No hi ha constància de la data fundacional del molí. Tanmateix la catedral de València, que n'era la propietària fins la desamortització, reclamava a principis del segle XIX la seua titularitat des de 1409, encara que l'enginy existia abans. L'any 1827 la instal·lació tenia dues moles, li mancava el vessador i era coneguda com el molí de Salvador Chiner.

L'únic testimoni conservat del molí de Benimaclet n'és una de les dues moles, recuperada durant els treballs de remodelació de l'entorn. Té un diàmetre de136 cm. i un gruix d'11 cm, i va ser fabricada en 1827, segons consta en una inscripció visible en la part inferior.
