English: Mohammad Yazdi is an Iranian cleric who served as the head of Judiciary System of Iran between 1989 and 1999. In 2015, he was elected to lead Iran's Assembly of Experts, defeating Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, a former president, by a vote count of 47 to 24.
فارسی: محمد یزدی (زادهٔ ۱۰ تیر ۱۳۱۰ در اصفهان) روحانی شیعه و سیاست‌مدار ایرانی، عضو شورای نگهبان، دبیر جامعه مدرسین حوزه علمیه قم و دبیر شورای عالی حوزه‌های علمیه است.
محمد یزدی نمایندهٔ استان تهران در دومین، سومین و چهارمین دوره مجلس خبرگان رهبری بوده و در چهارمین دوره برای یک سال به ریاست این مجلس رسید. وی که از دورهٔ دوم مجلس خبرگان رهبری تاکنون عضو آن بوده با ناکامی در انتخابات سال ۱۳۹۴ این مجلس از راهیابی مجدد به آن بازماند.
العربية: محمد يزدي (من مواليد 1931) هو عالم دين شيعى إيراني، تولى عدة مناصب في دولة إيران منها رئاسة السلطة القضائية الإيرانية من 1989 إلى 1999 ورئاسة مجلس خبراء القيادة من 2015 وبعد وفاة الرئيس السابق محمد رضا مهدوي كني إلی 24 مايو 2016 حيث انتخب الأعضاء الجدد لمجلس خبراء القيادة، آية الله أحمد جنتي لرئاسة هذا المجلس.

През 2015 г. е избран за ръководител на съвета на експертите, побеждавайки бившия президент Али Акбар Хашеми Рафсанджани, с 47 на 24 гласа.
