English: Moel Hebog mine - old building A roughly constructed old building that may be the "Miner's House" marked on the 1847 plan, although the remains of another building can be traced roughly where the photographer is standing. It was common for miners at more remote locations to stay on site for the working week and typical mine buildings would have included a barracks, as well as offices and stores. Summit of Moel yr Ogof on the skyline. |
