Summary
[edit]DescriptionModified well wagon No. BSC 66, Colliery west siding, Beamish Museum, 28 August 2013.jpg |
English: Beamish Museum, County Durham, England. This is wagon No. BSC 66, seen on the Colliery railway west sidings, north of Pit Village. It's a former Great Western Railway Macaw B bogie bolster (flat wagon), later converted to a well wagon, and further modified by Beamish with the addition of I-beams across the top of the well, to return it to a type of flat wagon. Its currently used as a static vehicle, in this position, as a carrier for an ice rink chiller unit. |
