Young people, too, have matters to discuss by telephone; matterswhich—to them, at any rate—are of more immediate importancethan the most far-reaching financial transaction. Many of thesematters are essentially private in their nature—particularly whenthere are still younger people in the household such as teasing smallbrothers or inquisitive little sisters. Somewhere in the home theremay well be a telephone so located that it meets the personal needs ofthe grown-up yet still young members of the family.
