Text Appearing Before Image:
Frograyn to he prepared for next meeting of club . . . consultationswith other members of committee on annual luncheon . . . pile ofunanswered letters crymg for uninterrupted attention. Whether onehas a secretary to look after such matters or not, at least one shouldtake advantage of every modern means of attending to these affairswith the utmost efBciency. Busy days—for the American woman,as for the American man—demand facilities that make for dispatch, reduce to a minimum the intrusion of disturbing factors, save preciousminutes, conserve energy. A telephone within convenient reach isas essential to her social activities as the telephone on her husbandsdesk is to his business. And the American husband is the first toinsist that his wife shall have available for her use every conveniencethat he himself finds essential. C.Ti ,® -\o
Text Appearing After Image:
Delightfully appointed surroundings . . . congenial companionship. . . friends in for bridge . . . running fire of light-hearted conversa^tion. A telephone call is expected. The requirements of complete comfort, for guests as well as formembers of the household, demand facilities that will make telephoneing so convenient that the service is always a helpful element inmodern living. Portable telephone installations place the servicewithin arms reach, anywhere in the home, at any time. They fitin with the modern way of life. If telephone jacks are providedhere and there about the house, it is possible to have a portable instrument brought and plugged in right at ones elbow when someonecalls up. This modern service makes it unnecessary to leave onesguests and go to the telephone in order to receive a call. c ■_ a- \
