Title
Modern Toy Dog
Description
English: Lead alloy toy. Solid cast caricature image of a small seated dog with an exaggeratedly long and upturned muzzle and protruding pellet eyes. Triangular ears project sideways from either side of the head and a long thin tail is curled beside the body. The whole is set on an integrally cast oval base. There is no discernible patina on the object. Modelled at a scale of c.1:40, this is probably a novelty from a cracker. It probably represents an indeterminate cartoon character. Suggested date: Modern, 1960-2000.

Height: 19.1mm, Length: 15.9mm, Width: 9.8mm, Weight: 3.93gms.
