Español: Los petroglifos de Borna están localizados en una roca plana en la ladera del Monte Faro en Borna, en la parroquia de San Pedro de Domaio. También conocido con el nombre del petroglifo de los barcos porque sus motivos recuerdan a embarcaciones, aparecen representadas gran número de cruces, identificadas como figuras esquemáticas de seres humanos combinadas con motivos circulares.
Martín Almagro Gorbea, prestigioso arqueólogo catalán, analizó este petroglifo en su estudio sobre las representaciones de barcos en el arte rupestre de la Península Ibérica, describiéndolo como un “conjunto formado por una dársena en forma de U. […] En sus extremos, aparecen representadas dos señales diferentes; a la derecha está dibujado un espolón y un segmento perpendicular al dique, mientras que en el dique izquierdo finaliza con un solo espolón. Dentro de la dársena se aprecia la representación de tres pantalanes y de dos embarcaciones. A la derecha del puerto representaron tres embarcaciones, las dos primeras parecen del mismo tipo y la tercera tendría mástil”. Su cronología es problemática ya que hay grabados que podrían ser adscritos a la Edad del Bronce, Edad Media, Edad Moderna y Contemporánea. |
