It was found from eyewitness accounts that the second tsunami arrival was the largest. At the northern settlement, one inundation height of 18.0 m and two runup heights of 19.4 and 19.5 m were measured (M15–M17). Although the southern settlement is located nearby, a lower inundation height of 14.6 m and runup heights of 14.5 and 14.0 m were measured (M18–M20)." |
