Foliolaovalia, sine petiolo fere 6 cm longa, 3 cm lata, dense et acute serrata, breviteracuminata, subtus juvencula densissime, adulta minus dense tomentella, supra sparsius^pilosa, demum subglabrescentia. Sambucus Rehderana Schwerin. In allen Teilen dicht rahmweiß behaart. Blättchen ohne den 2,5 cm langemStiel 6 cm lang, 3 cm breit, scharf gesägt mit kurzer Spitze. Stiel und Blattunter-seite äußerst dicht beharrt, spärlicher die Oberseite, die beim Ausreifen fast völlig-verkahlt. Infloreszens klein, 6,5 cm im Durchmesser, ziemlich flach, reich verästelt,mit dünnen behaarten Stielen. Blüten vielleicht etwas kleiner als bei S. caerulea^Beeren eher größer, bis 7 mm dick und dicht weißblau bereift. Diese Art unterscheidet sich in allen ihren Teilen von sämtlichen übrigenHolundem mit blaubereiften Früchten. Die überaus dichte allseitige weißliche Be-haarung und die kurzen breiten Blättchen zeichnen sie ganz besonders aus. Fürdie gegenüber den anderen Arten kleinen Abmessungen aller Teile sind die Beeren,ungewöhnlich groß, jedenfalls eher größer als die der S. caerulea. Nr. 29.
