oad Route from theMissis. riv. to the pac. Oc. (1855), dauernd blühend, so daß an denselben ÄstenBlüten, grüne halbreife Früchte um schwarzrote reife Früchte sich befinden. loa. Sambucus orbiculata Greene (mit Abbildung). (Rundblätteriger Holunder.) Leaflets II (1912) loo. Strauch mit dünnen kastanienbraunen Ästen, die im ersten Jahre fein behaart,später völlig kahl sind. Blätter klein, 6 cm lang und ebenso breit, meist dreizählig,nur selten mit 5 zähligen untermischt, Blattstiel sehr kurz, i cm und kürzer, Blätt-chen 1,5 : 3,5 cm, oval bis ftind, das Endblättchen meist kreisiund, 3 : 3 cm, oftohne jede Spitze (s. Abb.), grob und ziemlich weitständig gezähnt. Cyme flach, bis8 cm breit, sehr reichblütig; Früchte unbekannt. Nach Greene trotzdem als zurGruppe der S. caerulea gehörig bezeichnet. Nr. 29. Revisio generis Sambucus. 2 IQ 1. puberula Schwer., var. nov. Junge Triebe, Infloreszens und Blattstiele fein behaart, Blattunterseite spär-dicher und weitständig.
