che Grabhügel (Hünen-gräber) finden, die sicher verschwunden wären, wenn das Gebiet auch nur vorüber-gehend für einige Menschengeschlechter als Acker getiient hätte. So fehlt es dennunserer Rheinprovinz weder an ehrwürdigen alten Bäumen in Dorf und Stadt, nochan bemerkenswertem Wildwuchs im Walde. Das forstbotanische Merkbuch ist für die Rheinprovinz leider noch nichterschienen. Hofientlich wird es in nicht zu ferner Zukunft kommen und den Baum-reichtum der Rheinlande weiteren Kreisen offenbaren. DIE EIBE.
