SS ^ Die i2Jährige japanische Rotföhre und die i8jährige japanische Seh warz-föhre leiden unter Schneedruck, erwachsen krummschäftig und werden von an-geflogenen gemeinen Forchen und vom Buchenaufschlag weit überholt. Pinus Laricio austriaca, die Schwarzforche hat sich bei der Aufforstungtrockener und heißer Steilhänge als eine Holzart bewährt, die sicher wie keine andereFuß faßt und sich dauernd hält. Auf den dolomitischen Kalkschuttböden der Alb zeigtsie sich dabei bis gegen das 30. Jahr der gemeinen Forche vorwüchsig und bessertdurch ihren starken Nadelabfall den Boden. Während ihr auf der Alb gute Wuchsform, gerade Schaftbildung und gute Ast-reinigung nachgesagt werden kann (F.-A. Bopfingen), zeigt sie sich im Stufenlandbreitwüchsiger und grobästiger als die gemeine Forche. Nr. 21. Anbauversuche mit fremdl. Holzarten in Württemberg. 43
