Syn.: Weigela styriaca Kl., Moellers Deutsche Gärtner-Ztg. 1912, S. 296. (Mit Farbentafel.) Von W. Klenert jun., Graz. Diervillea hybrida styriaca wurde durch unsere Firma im Jahre igo8 daserstemal unter dem Namen Weigela styriaca im Katalog aufgenommen. Seitdieser Zeit hat sie in Österreich immer mehr Verbreitung gefunden und dürftebesonders in Privatgärten als Solitärpfianze des öfteren anzutrefifen sein. DieseSpielart, die sich unter mehreren hundert Sämlingen besondere Geltung durch ihreBlühwilligkeit und Blütenfarbe verschaffte, wurde längere Zeit beobachtet und schließlich2ur Vermehrung und Weilerverbreitung aufgenommen. Der Strauch, der eine Höhevon ca. 1,50 m und nur unter besonderen Verhältnissen gegen 2 m erreicht, wächstaufrecht ohne besonders oder doch nur ganz leicht überzuhängen.mitteilungenderd2123deut
