| Description |
A couple days ago, I made a few posts about minibuses in Jamaica with a specific focus on the the most popular of them, the Toyota Coaster. I did mention, however, that the Coaster was not alone in the market and other Japanese manufacturers had competitors. Here's one of those: a Mitsubishi Fuso Rosa. Introduced in 1960, the Rosa is actually almost a decade older than the Coaster. Like the Coaster, it is a hardy, reliable, efficient and easily maintained minibus capable of comfortably transporting around 25 (up to 30 in long-body configurations) people. Also like the Coaster, its a pretty common sight in developing nations as a transit option, though it is outnumbered generally by Coasters. The Rosa is in its 4th generation and shows no signs of slowing down. |
