Description Stationary letter from Henry Lineback (1848-3-8-1924), in Yellow Mountain, Mitchell County, North Carolina dated May 24, 1880. Lineback served in Co. C., 13th Tennessee Cavalry (Union). He married Charlotte Wilson in Carter County, Tennessee on Oct. 2, 1872 and was appointed Post Master at Yellow Mountain, Mitchell County, N.C. on Jan. 10, 1877. The TVA relocated Henry's grave from the Lineback Family cemetery in Carter County, Tenn., to Happy Valley Memorial Park in Elizabethton, Carter County, Tenn., when the Watauga Lake Reservior was created covering the Lineback cemetery.
