d manytimes. She loved to do the Masterswork, and although busy, was never toobusy to stop and attend to various duties,give a word of encouragement or help inwhatever way she could. In the fall of 1910 she entered Beth-any Bible School, Chicago, 111., to fur-ther prepare- herself for service. Shespent three years as a student here, tak-ing work in the Bible teacher trainingcourse. She also did some special workin vocal music. While in school here Sister Garner didsome practical work; also kept up herwork in her home church in Batavia, go-ing home over each Sunday. Althougha desire for foreign service was kindledwhile in Mount Morris College, it didnot grow much until some years laterwhen, while attending Bethany BibleSchool, she was led to give her life en-tirely into the Lords hands, to be usedby Him in whatever way and whereverHe chose. Sister Garners Home, Batavia, Illinois. May 27, 1913, she was happily mar-ried to Bro. H. P. Garner, whom shemet while in Bethany. Together theyplanned to serve the Master whereverHe should call. The two years following were spentin Blue Ridge College, Md., where Sis-ter Garner taught in the primary depart-ment for one year. She also took someteacher training and mission study work,receiving diplomas on the books, Train-ing the Teacher and Christian Hero-ism in Heathen Lands. The past year she has been under ap-pointment to India, and has been busyand anxiously awaiting the time for sail-ing to her desired field of service. Sister Garner, with her husband, goesto her work with a heart full of love forthose who need her help. May the dear Father abundantly blessthem in their labors, and give them livesof useful, joyful service for Him. Not by might, nor by power, but byMy spirit, saith the Lord.
