| Description |
English: Missing bridge at Leenaun The N59 road from Westport to Connemara passes through Leenaun. In July 2007 the bridge was washed away. Because of the importance of the road a temporary one was quickly installed, which is still there to the right. The old bridge will be restored but decisions are still being taken about how. Meanwhile the road where the south end of the bridge used to be has quickly become a car park. |
