Summary
[edit]DescriptionMirro Aluminum 35mm Advertising Slide - Flickr - MichaelSteeber.jpg |
This is a scan of a 35mm slide created by Blackhawk Films in the 1950s or 60s of an ad agency mockup for Mirro Aluminum Tea Kettles. Ads similar to this originally appeared in the Saturday Evening Post around 1918. I am unsure why a slide of this era would depict what was already then a very old advertisement. I'm seeking out more info on the origins of this. The color on this scan is poor... the original is much more vibrant, without such a blue and pink cast to it. That's the fault of my scanner. |
