Summary
[edit]DescriptionMiriam 2012-09-24 1425Z.png |
English: Miriam has continued to rapidly strengthen and forecasts show a deeper and more robust cyclone in the next few days as the storm tracks toward Baja California. Strengthening to category 4 is possible although Miriam's small-diameter eye raises the possibility of the storm going through an eyewall replacement cycle, attenuating further strengthening during the next 24 hours. This image was taken by GOES-14, during a period of testing before returning to storage mode, at 1415Z on September 24, 2012. |
