The religiou*advantage-s consist of 15 churches, repre-senting the following religious denomina-tions: Methodist Episcopal, Baptist, Uni-tarian, Free Methodist, Presbyterian,Swedish Lutheran, Norwegian and Scan-dinavian Lutheran, Adventist, Episcopal,Catholic, Christian Reformed, Seventh-dayAdventist and Congregational. The gradedschool building is a tine structure, and cost?^30,000. There are stone quarries in thevicinity, and a verj- valuable quality of stuneis obtained. Among the noticeable buildingsof the place are the Van Eps. Insurance Co.of Dakota, ^Masonic Temple blocks, built otsolid brick, iron and plate-glass fronts, ele-gantly fitted and turnished with every cmi-venience for the transaction of business. Sioux Falls is a town beautifullysituated at the Falls of the Sioux river, which, within the limits of thecity, plunges ninety feet over rocky rapids and cascades. The build-ing stands on an elevated and commanding site, looking down Main street.It is quite in the country; yet within ten minutes walk from the center ofthe city. The building, constructed in the most substantial manner of the celebrated-Sioux Falls jasper, is one of the most beautiful in the Northwest. It islieated by steam, lighted by gas, and supplied with wholesome, delicious waterfrom a well on the grounds of the school. Bath rooms are convenientlyplaced throughout the building, and especial attention has been paid tosecure perfcci ventilation, drai7iage and safety froyn fire. The interior, with its chapel, wide halls, warm, well lighted parlors, din-ing room and school rooms, is carefully finished and arranged v/ith an^especial view to makin
