Hver dag drepes og lemlestes uskyldige mennesker av miner og klasebomber som ligger igjen etter krig og konflikt. Norsk Folkehjelp er en av verdenes største humanitære minerydderorganisasjoner. Hver dag finner våre 1500 ansatte miner og klasebomber, de fjerner dem og uskadeliggjør dem. Men kanskje enda viktigere – de fjerner frykten lokalbefolkningen har levd med. Når det skapes trygghet åpnes muligheten for å flytte hjem igjen, for å dyrke jorda, for å leke trygt på tidligere minelagte områder. (Foto: Werner Anderson) |
