Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This cutout features a portion of an impact crater with a curious shape, perhaps owing to epochs of erosion. The rim not very sharp and we see darker materials exposed outside the crater. The interior of the crater shows rough, fretted terrain. We obtained this image to provide HiRISE coverage over existing high-resolution CRISM data. CRISM has detected mineral exposures here.

Image cutout is less than 5 km (3 mi) across and the spacecraft altitude was 251.2 km (156.1 miles). For full observation details including images with scale bars, visit the source link.
