| Description |
English: Miner's Rescue at Dean Heritage Museum, Forest of Dean A wood sculpture remembering the dangers inherent in coal mining in the Forest of Dean. Free miners have been working for almost a thousand years within the bounds of the Forest - once in their hundreds but now there are only a couple of free mines still operating. This sculpture was created by one of the resident sculptors attached to the Dean Heritage Museum and was photographed in its' car park. |
