Summary

English: This image was taken at the Minarets observation site (Minaret Summit). Most of the Minarets (peaks) have been informally named. The largest and tallest (Clyde Minaret) is identified in this image. Michael Minaret is where Norman Clyde found the body of Walter "Pete" Starr in 1933 and it is just to the left of Clyde Minaret. Eichorn Minaret is just to the right of Clyde Minaret. Eichorn was Clyde's most frequent climbing companion. The image is made up of three separate photographs that were stitched together using the Canon stitch utility that came with the camera. |
