三叉路の中央にコナラがあったが、ナラ枯れの被害のため福岡市植物園によって2022年(令和4年)3月に撤去された。今後、ボランティア団体「南公園・森の倶楽部」によって、この場所のドングリから発芽したコナラの苗を植えて、育てていく予定とされている(現地に掲示されている福岡市植物園及び南公園・森の倶楽部による説明板より)。
