| Description |
English: Up freight arriving at Millers Dale. View westward, towards Buxton and via Peak Forest to Manchester Central: ex-Midland Derby - Manchester main line (closed 6/3/67). The Class H freight is headed by LMS Fowler 4F 0-6-0 No. 44602, which was one of the last built (1940), withdrawn 8/64; it has a Stanier high-sided tender. The signalbox is Millers Dale Station, Millers Dale Junction, where the line to Buxton branched off, being 1¼ miles westward. |
