Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Construction crews begin removing trees and grading land as part of the "Millennium Project" at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington County, Virginia, in the United States. The "Millennium Project" will turn 27 acres (110,000 m2) of forest contained within the cemetery into useable burial space. Cemetery officials say this will add 30,000 in-ground and columbarium burial space. An impaired natural stream that runs through the area will also be restored.
