Summary
[edit]DescriptionMillennium Hill from Herefordshire Beacon - geograph.org.uk - 210519.jpg |
English: Millennium Hill from Herefordshire Beacon. Taken from the Norman motte on the top of Herefordshire Beacon, which together with Millennium Hill is part of the iron age hill fort whose earthworks are clearly seen in the distance. The ditch in the foreground is Norman. Millennium Hill was named at a special ceremony in midsummer 2000 (halfway between the two controversial dates for the millennium - and much much warmer!) |
