English: Mill Lade (Excelsior Mill), Omagh The lade runs behind the security fence to this corner and is piped underground towards the former old mill which was located on the site of the present mill on the Mountjoy Road. There may have been some sort of lock to control the height and flow of the water supply here, and the stream would have been open. This section of the lade would have been also been known as "The Carry" |
