English: Mill Hill The copse on top of this rise (which is in the next square west) is called Mill Hill Plantation, and is the only suggestion that a mill ever stood here. It was probably a simple medieval timber post mill rather than a longer-lasting brick or stone structure. Note the rain damage in the field of wheat. |
