Description
English: First Lt. Bryan Cooper (inside gate) and Staff Sgt. Robert Randolph (left), 210th Military Police Company, receive orders from higher headquarters about how to proceed with a security issue involving protesters during the Vigilant Guard exercise at the Franklin Water Treatment Facility in Charlotte, N.C. on March 7, 2015. Vigilant Guard is an exercise program sponsored by U.S. Northern Command in conjunction with the National Guard Bureau. The program provides an opportunity for state National Guard Headquarters, state joint task forces, N.C. Emergency Management, and county civilian partners to improve communication and operational relationships in a domestic operations environment.
