Description A bus stop on the A3055 Military Road, between Chale and Atherfield, Isle of Wight, humorously named the "Middle of Nowhere", in reference to its remote location. Unlike similarly named stop "Back of Beyond", which is situated next to a public footpath, this bus stop has absolutely no purpose, being placed between fields, really in the middle of nowhere. This is the Ryde bound side, served only by the Island Coaster summer tourist service. In Spring 2011, bus stops on the Island Coaster route were updated with unique bus stop flags for the route. The older "green" bus stop can be seen here.
