Description
English: A bus stop on the A3055 Military Road, between Chale and Atherfield, Isle of Wight, humorously named the "Middle of Nowhere", in reference to its remote location. Unlike similarly named stop "Back of Beyond", which is situated next to a public footpath, this bus stop has absolutely no purpose, being placed between fields, really in the middle of nowhere. This is the Alum Bay bound side, served only by the Island Coaster summer tourist service. Despite vehicles on that service no longer carrying the X40 number, this is what the stops still display.
