| Description | Although probably early Victorian (Barnet was the spelling once the trains arrived), the metal cast sign itself barely changed from this to 1964, and had it been pole or wall mounted ought to count as an official direction sign, as until the metal plates began the wording was always carved onto the stone directly. |
