  • Italiano: "Stazione Centrale ferroviaria di Milano", in un'incisione del 1865 tratta dal "Giornale dell'Ingegnere Architetto". Si tratta del primo edificio a portare questo nome, inaugurata nel 1864 sul luogo dove è ora Piazza della Repubblica. Il progetto era dell'architetto francese Louis-Jules Bouchot (1817-1907).
  • English: The Central Station in Milan, Italy, after an engraving published in 1865 in the "Giornale dell'Ingegnere Architetto". This is the first building to bear this name. It was inaugurated in 1864 on the spot where currently stands Piazza della Repubblica square. The project was by French architect Louis-Jules Bouchot (1817-1907). It was demolished in the 1920s.
