Summary

[edit]
Description
English: U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Thomas Gough, from Albany, Ga., meets Mike Remlinger at Camp As Sayliyah, May 6. Remlinger, a retired pitcher, is currently building up his strength for a possible return to major league baseball later this year. "I would like to go back to the Cubs," said Remlinger. "I had a great time playing in Chicago but where I go all depends on the need of the teams. Right now, I'll just get myself in shape." He joined Dean Palmer, Tim Salmon and Jeff Nelson to meet servicemembers at various U.S. military installations in southwest Asia. "I got their autographs for my boy -- he is a big baseball fan!" said Gough. (U.S. Army photo/Dustin Senger)
